Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Zipply (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms and any updates to them.
2. Description of Service
Zipply is an AI-powered resume tailoring service built for students. The Service lets you adapt your resume to specific job descriptions, receive ATS scoring and feedback, convert resumes to LaTeX, and manage your tailoring history. Features vary by subscription plan, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- Phone verification is required to unlock full access to the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose. You must not:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise abuse the Service or its APIs.
- Share your account with others.
- Circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or other technical restrictions.
- Upload content you do not own or do not have the right to use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Payment Terms
- Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor.
- All sales are final — we do not offer refunds for any billing period.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
Your resume content remains yours. You retain all rights to the resumes, activities, and other content you upload, as well as the tailored versions generated for you. Zipply owns the platform itself, including all software, code, design, and branding, and these terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond use of the Service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that tailored resumes will result in interviews or job offers. AI-generated resume suggestions are based on keyword analysis and do not guarantee interview or employment outcomes. Zipply does not fabricate skills or experience on behalf of users.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zipply’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the subscription fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Zipply is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms of Service. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at zipply.dev/terms, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
